Massive Book Unhaul

The Reasons:

Have you ever gotten to the point where you run out of shelf space, so you get another bookcase. Then you run out of room again and get another bookcase. Then when it happens again you get rid of all the bookcases and build bookshelves that scale from floor to ceiling. And yet you are still out of room?

Well, that's where I am at. I have gotten to the point of owning over 2,300 books - which is a LOT. Too many, if we're being honest. Who knew there was such a thing! While organizing my books over the past month I started setting aside books to get rid of. They ranged from books I know I'll never end up reading - but bought because they are Just. So. Pretty., to books I have multiple copies of - and as my friends keep informing me - don't need multiple copies of, to books I have read and didn't enjoy.

The Books:

Many of the books I am selling are signed and/or exclusive editions. I have books from Goldsboro, The Broken Binding, Fairyloot, OwlCrate, Illumicrate, Waterstones, Barnes & Noble, Subterranean Press, and more. Over the course of this week, I will be listing books each day. In total I have just over 200 books I will be listing on this site, 110 ARCs I am trading through various Facebook BST Groups, 25 books I'm taking to my local used bookstore, and 45 books I am donating to Little Free Libraries.

The Pricing:

I wanted to talk a little bit about the pricing. For those that don't know, book collecting is an expensive hobby. When I order a book from Goldsboro it usually costs me between $39-$48 (depending on the books cost and exchange rate). You'll notice that the vast majority of my Goldsboro books are listed for $30, $35, and $40 - which is less than cost. That being said I do have a few that are priced at or above cost. Even those, I tried to price it well below the current market value. One example is Threadneedle, I will be listing it for $75. The current listings have it for $125-$175. So even though it is roughly $30 over cost it is substantially less than the current value / going rate.

What about bundles, discounts, and deals? If you see multiple books that catch you eye, I am willing to work on the price with you. That being said, this offer is mainly for the books I am selling at or above cost. However, whatever books do not sell by June 30 will be going on sale with a discount.

Shipping is a flat $5 for US Media Mail (Even if you purchase multiple books). Unfortunately, international shipping is quite expensive so it may quote you a large sum of money. If you're outside the US and interested in purchasing a book, feel free to send me an email. I can take the book to the post office and find out exactly what the cost will be / the least expensive option. It will likely be close to the original quote, but you never know!

The Goal:

My goal is to have ALL 400+ books gone by July 20th.
